Pure Michigan

I love Michigan summers in northern Michigan and this fourth of July we were lucky enough to spend a week in Suttons Bay with Kevin's family.

It was a great vacation- although it was different vacationing with our sweet Ryan. It was tough to get outside with him because it was so HOT but we still managed to enjoy some beach time, sunsets, seafood dinners, bonfires, the Sleeping Bear Dunes, a winery or two, fireworks and two small town ice cream stops! Our week long vacation started on June 30th- Ryan's one month mark!

Ryan loved snuggling with M.O. and his aunties :)

It was our first visit to the Sleeping Bear Dunes and although it felt like the hottest day of the summer, the views were unbelievable. Pure. Michigan.

We loved having the opportunity to be with our niece and nephew all week. Brendan is taking steps and moving all over the place and he's so curious about the world around him. Mae is loving singing songs (especially "We're off to see the wizard") and entertaining us with her spunky personality.

We were so nervous to take Ryan to the fireworks. We thought that the booms would bother him for sure. No. He slept through the entire thing.

Here's video proof!

Great memories to keep of Ryan's first vacation.
