summer sisters

On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, I jumped at the chance to watch my beautiful neices for a few hours each day. These summer sisters are well into a routine at Nana and Papa's house and they helped me to stay on schedule! Park in the morning... pool in the afternoon. This is what my summer vacation has been missing!

On Tuesday... we played with scarves, dressed baby dolls, played outside, played with purses and cell phones, made up a song about apple sauce, and had a surprise lunch with Uncle Kevin.

Sophie grabbed her scarf and packed her "purse" with her cell phone and baby. Ayla... well, she wanted the REAL thing!

On Wednesday, Aunt Lis & Aunt Meg both came to play with these summer sisters. We started the morning at the park. The girls showed us how to take the "secret garden path" to the park!

Mean Mr. Garbage Truck...... Ayla gave her sister a flower to feel better.

They kept us busy all morning- playing with baby dolls and having a tea party! What a perfect morning.
