Finally. I have my computer back from rehab and time on my hands to post about some of my summer happenings. Kevin and I spent a long weekend at the Stasiak cottage on Birch Lake with friends and Kristine's family...I can't remember a fourth of July weekend that I wasn't there!
A weekend in northern Michigan seems to define summer for me... basking in the sunshine, barbecuing, hammocks, coolers and coozies, hours on the boat, bonfires, "the snack table", and freckles popping out for the first time!

Krystal & Hisum tried to take a nap after a long day on the boat but I couldn't help but snapping a few photos of them... they looked so sweet and peaceful.
