I have always loved holidays but holidays are much more exciting now with nieces and nephews around. After spending the past few Easter mornings with Kevin's family, I knew that this one too would include an egg hunt and a delicious brunch. So, Kevin and I rushed to his mom's house so that we could see everyone and not miss Mae hunting for Easter eggs! It was a beautiful morning... and Mae was so cute running to each colorful egg.
It was wonderful to have Jeff, Mae, & Keely home for Easter :)
Adorable...
Pretty in pink- Mae & Aunt Bree
The whole family~ Happy Easter!
Little Mae lounging on the back patio... I miss her already!
Next stop....Easter dinner at my grandma's. On our way there, I began reminiscing about Easters past at my Grandma's house... hunting for eggs around the house, and playing in dress-up clothes with my sisters & cousins. I couldn't remember the last time we had celebrated Easter at my grandma's house- let alone had an egg hunt. So, I was delighted to hear that there would be an egg hunt for Sophie & Ayla. I was immediately brought back to my own childhood.
What was better? Their adorable pink dresses for the occasion!
Someone figured out that there were animal crackers inside the eggs!
When Meghan and I were little girls, we were known for performing song after song, and dance after dance for everyone around us (especially if there was a fireplace around for a stage). So, when Sophie and Ayla started dancing around the living room... I couldn't help but think about all of the fun moments they are going to have together as sisters and best friends.
Teamwork at its best! It takes two to put on these shoes :)

You know what else we loved to do at Grandma's house? Play in the bedrooms!
What a great weekend :) We missed you Meg, Kenny, Jennie, Eric, Noah, & Christian!
